TMJ Notes: I found this one on Craigslist. My thoughts are that if the front suspension pan has been replaced it’s likely their could be unknown rust in other areas if it was not treated. Not always the case though… It sounds like a fair deal at this price. However it’s best to do your research and take a look at my buying tips.

Long wheelbase 912. Many improvements over earlier 912′s. 5 speed, runs and drives great, 3rd enthusiast owner. Original new car bill of sale, records and owners log from 1980 on. Just awake from long “rest” Fluids changed, tune up and valve adjustment. Original tool kit, owners manual, Weber 40 IDF carbs have been removed, cleaned and adjusted, front suspension pan has been repaired otherwise floor pans and rear suspension area looks solid and unmolested. 5 speed shifts great, all 4 calipers rebuilt, new brake hoses, new, correct headliner. Dash looks good but has small cracks at speaker grill. Both doors show rust bubbles and previous repairs, engine lid also. No evidence of previous crash damage. Looks great overall but paint showing some aging. 6X15 Fuchs are replica wheels, original chrome wheels can be substituted. This car is definitely nice enough to enjoy as is.
