1961 BMW R50S Ebay Auction

Some people can take a perfectly good vintage machine, start modifying it and the outcome is well… Not so good. In this case, the guys here at The Motoring Journal all agree this is one screamin’ (8000RPM’s worth) Beemer we found on Ebay! The vintage racer setup has fast written all over it. The people that built this bike have successful racing history behind them and know what they’re doing. Have a look for yourself and tell us what you think?

ok
that is one really hot looking build.
i owned a 61 r50s for the past 10 years
did a couple of mods
but when it came time to sell
everyone wanted it as NOS
this one is missing the correct valve covers.
is it really a R50″S”?
