Well it has finally cooled off a bit in Florida! This morning I awoke to 63 Degree temps, 70% humidity (which isn’t bad for Florida) and sunny skies. My 1968 Porsche 912 has the Twin Weber carbs tuned to perfection and she was happy to breathe in that cool morning air.

I recently purchased my first “real” camera which is a Nikon D40. After reading many reviews about higher end models and more basic models. I found the D40 a perfect fit to be able to grab it on the run and snap quality photo’s. You can see in these pictures I have been messing with different lighting qualities. The outdoor shots are a bit dark and the indoor shots look pretty great. I don’t use any photoshop effects on these pics so what you see is straight from the camera.

I departed down A1A and stopped at a lonely road to take these pics.

I put on about 60 miles of pure joy. The car performs flawlessly and acceleration is smooth all the way through the RPM’s. I’m used to Webers having flat spots but Billy at Beach Buggies and 4×4′s did an incredible job tuning these things for under cheap! It’s like a new car.
