1968 Bahama Yellow Porsche 912 For Sale $9950

Posted on 29 August 2008 by Chris

This is my own personal car that I’ve enjoyed so much. To me this car is very special because of the color and the great driving experience. This is the last year of the Short Wheel Base Porsche cars. Here are some details:

Top End Rebuild- less than 2000 miles ago, 1720cc engine running strong.
New Ignition Wires
Oil/Filter Change
New Oil Inlet Line
Ipod Adaptable CD Player
Racing Shoulder Harness Belts (I have original Lap Belts with Porsche Crest)
New Generator Belt
New fuel lines and filters
Cleaned Fuel Tank

Body: There is normal nicks and scratches but nothing that severe. The paint has been clearcoated in the past and looks presentable but not show quality by any standards. It has patina and some fading around the upper portion of the rear decklid.
Floors: Have surface rust and a Quarter sized hole in the passenger foot area.
Rockers: Passenger side has rust along deco strip and Drivers Side has rust-thru along Deco Strip
Front Suspension: Slight Surface Rust but very solid overall
Battery Tray: Slight Surface Rust
Chrome: Faded here and there some still has a good shine. It’s original!
New brake Lines: Stops Great
Transmission: 5 Speed, Shifts Excellent with no popouts, no grinding.
Coco Mats
Amco Rack Not Included.

Documentation: Most records since the mid 70′s. I believe I am the 4th owner according to Doc’s.
Overall: A blast to drive and should stay on the road for many years with regular maintenance.
